PVC Vendo, part of Darren Taylor's 'Taylor Made Franchising' group, has recently introduced a new ‘Saniclean’ service in a bid to combat the COVID-19 virus for its clients.
Taylor Made Franchising also owns franchise operations StumpBusters, Wilkins Chimney Sweep and Traas Pest Control.
PVC Vendo, which was founded in 1981, has 36 franchisees across England and Wales cleaning fleets of commercial vehicles including delivery giants DHL, XPO and Wincanton.
The new ‘Saniclean’ service being offered to new and existing clients, uses a trade-only professional cleaning product, which when applied to the inside of the vehicle, kills the COVID-19 virus immediately.
Managing Director Darren Taylor said,

When a company has a confirmed case of the virus amongst staff, they naturally want to get that vehicle sanitised ASAP, for staff safety and so they can get it back out on the road, with as little down-time as possible. We are delighted that companies are turning to trusted professionals like PVC Vendo, to help them protect their staff from the COVID-19 virus and to keep their vehicles on the road during these difficult times.’
Talking about the changes he has made to the company Taylor said,
‘Since I bought the business in December 2018 my team at Taylor Made Franchising have spent a lot of time bringing the company’s systems up to date. We have developed and introduced a bespoke piece of software,‘ProWash’ with both franchisor and franchisee functionality. Once a client’s details are on the system, the franchisee uses the app to record the details of each vehicle that has been cleaned and to let the customer know the job is complete. The software has made a huge difference to our ability to react swiftly to clients during this Corona Virus pandemic. We can let clients know immediately that their vehicles are safe and virus-free and their staff can get back to work.’
PVC Vendo staff are currently talking to Transport for London, offering to clean buses using the ‘Saniclean’ system, in anticipation of a lifting of the lockdown and a return to the use of public transport. This offer will also be rolled out to school buses and leisure coaches in the coming months.
